 Helene Jung is currently associate professor and consultant urological surgeon at Department of Urology, Lillebaelt Hospital, University of Southern Denmark, Vejle, Denmark.

Her research interests focus on urolithiasis, intrarenal pressure, pathophysiology during endourological surgery in the upper urinary tract and upper urinary tract urothelial carcinoma. In her clinical practice she mainly deals with urinary stone disease.

Helene Jung has published more than 60 papers in international journals, mainly concerning urinary stones and upper urinary tract endoscopy and has had numerous scientific presentations worldwide. She is member of the EAU Guidelines Panel on Urolithiasis and is responsible for education of young urologists in Denmark regarding practical kidney stone disease treatment. Helene Jung is associate editor at World Journal of Urology and has joined the AUA and WCET meetings as a faculty member several times. Helene received the Hans Marberger Award in 2009 for the best published paper on Minimally Invasive Surgery in Urology.
